Peppermint Cocoa

On a bitter, sluggish, evening I decided to make peppermint cocoa.

Why? I don’t know.

Maybe it’s the warmth of the milk

Maybe it’s the sweetness

Maybe it’s the peppermint

Maybe it’s the little marshmallows

Maybe it’s the cute snowman mug

Maybe it’s the chocolatey flavor

Maybe it’s the memories

Perhaps those are the reasons

why
